Joseph Schmalke (writer) Credits: Co- Creator/writer/artist The Electric Black, Writer and Artist for Cherry Blackbird, The Infernal Pact, and The Calamitous Black Devils. Work is also featured on F.Y.E. and Marvel Comics T-shirts. Super 7 reaction figure card artwork for Phantom Starkiller.
Jason Lynch (artist) no credits this is his first comics gig but has been working as a professional graphic designer for over 10 years.
The Story…
In the land of high adventure brave heroes fight to save humanity from the creatures of darkness. Despite the valiant efforts of these brave souls, a new breed of asshole has risen, the Murder Hobo. A Murder Hobo is a selfish adventure assassin driven by blood, sex, and greed. Any band of warriors unfortunate enough to recruit one soon learns that the Murder Hobo is the only one who wins out in the end. Each issue features two different tales featuring one of five Murder Hobos, each with a different specialty and power but all have one thing in common... they want all the loot for themselves.

LOOT FOR 2020 DEBUT!
When a small-town kleptomaniac joins a government antiquity recovery division, she enters a dangerous world of treasure hunting and finds out sometimes the real treasures aren’t just priceless artifacts. Scout is releasing an ashcan preview of LOOT this weekend (Booth 2108) at Baltimore Comic Con.

The Story…
Orphaned at birth, serial kleptomaniac Emily 'Doe' was lucky to be adopted by Viola Jackson, the cop who kept arresting her. Now grown up (sort of), Emily D. Jackson works for her newly retired mom in loss prevention at a big box superstore by day and turns her passion for theft into part time treasure hunting on the side. When Emily cracks the code of a famous explorer's journal that was leaked online, the Department of Homeland Security division tasked with recovering lost and stolen antiquities (yes, it really exists), recruits her to help them find the missing loot. Helicoptered away from her small-town life, Emily finds herself thrust into a series of thrilling global adventures facing off against international art thieves, hostile foreign governments, and rival treasure hunters -- all the while learning that the real treasures aren't priceless artifacts, but family and friends.

Richard & I love ancient artifacts and the mysticism that surrounds them. LOOT allows us to dig into the actual history surrounding those objects and explore our affection for the old adventure pulp magazines that pre-dated comic books, with a wonderful female protagonist at the center of the story. Richard and I have long been fans of K Lynn Smith's art work and her ability to bring strong female characters to life - we are thrilled we get to work with her on this series.
